This leading banking and financial services group currently have an opening for a Senior Manager within Planning and Change.
This division are responsible for managing risk infrastructure change and sits within Group Risk. The successful candidate will work closely with multiple brands and have the opportunity to provide strong consultative support throughout the business.
Key responsibilities will include :
Delivery of specific change projects in Group Risk, often with a pan-Group reach to divisional risk functions
Tracking time, cost and quality of delivery for Risk Infrastructure projects
Scope out and drive forward the implementation of the Risk Capabilities Matrix for the risk community population
Work with key stakeholders to ensure that the Capabilities Matrix is embedded, provide reporting on progress
Take responsibility for ensuring the Risk Community People and Communications plan is operational, working closely with key partners
Provide relevant MI on progress against people and comms plan for the Risk Leadership Team
Managing the ongoing maintenance of Basel II work in accordance with the bank’s AMA approach
Providing change and project management support to the wider Group Risk community, and co-ordinating change effort with Divisions and Business Units
Provide support and delivery of integration activity
Support the management of stakeholder relationships across Divisions and Business Units as appropriate
Provide PMO support to risk projects where appropriate
Ensure that Group Risk Infrastructure projects operate within defined Group standards, and are effectively governed and controlled
Liaise with Group change forum and contribute to the development of change management across the wider Group
Skills Required :
A strong background within operational risk in the banking or financial services industry is essential
A working knowledge of Basel II and AMA approach to Risk Management is preferable
Experience of implementing major risk projects is preferable
