An excellent opportunity for an experienced, resource management professional to join a global leader in the banking sector in Singapore.
This role is a key pivotal point between the Bank’s technology teams, finance and HR. Our client is looking for an individual who is a seasoned resource manager with experience of establishing, rolling out and running robust RM processes and procedures. It is not essential that the successful candidate has previously worked in the banking sector, rather it is the RM skills that are the prime criteria.
The focus of the role is concentrated around a program of mission-critical projects that will be implemented over the next few years. The RM will be required to work across a large team of practice heads and project managers to ensure that resource demands are met within the timelines required, and with suitably skilled individuals. This will involve leveraging the existing skill-sets across the various pools of individuals in a wide number of locations. Additionally this role will be instrumental in the operational (non-project) resource requirements of the Banks Technology Division.
Key requirements that you will need:
a solid grounding in and around resource management.
A successful track-record in running the RM of a large organisation across multiple locations
Experience in tracking financials associated with RM and reporting these to senior management in IT, Finance and HR
As this is a “change the bank” scenario, you will need the ability and desire to drive the establishment of RM best practices across the organisation.
To show evidence of strong inter-personal skills through previously having successfully run RM for large, multi-cultural teams
