Our Client provides institutional investors and global broker-dealers with world-class e-trading solutions to help them achieve a superior price of execution, realize greater trading efficiency and manage compliance risk related to their credit trading activity.

Their prized client to multi-dealer trading platform allows institutional investors to simultaneously request competitive, executable bids or offers from multiple broker-dealers, and to execute trades with the broker-dealer of their choice.

The firm offers a comprehensive set of data and analytical tools that help their clients make trading decisions. To facilitate straight through processing, they electronically communicate order information between trading counterparties through a suite of STP solutions.

They also offer an Execution Services business to institutional investors who seek an outsourced fixed income trading solution as an extension of their existing electronic trading business. The firm acts as an executing agent, handling all interactions with the dealer community. The method of transaction is agreed with the customer up-front (e.g. target levels, confirm before execution, order-based, etc.). The company works with clients to devise an efficient workflow solution for settlement and allocations. Trades are transacted on a riskless principal basis, with the firm as counterparty, and settled through a third party clearing firm.

Responsibilities
This is an opportunity for you to use your municipal bond trading experience and your knowledge of the Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) market in supporting their growing Execution Services business.  You will work on behalf of clients to fill their municipal bond orders.  The firm will serve as a counterparty facing a broad dealer community.  You will be responsible for sourcing bids and offers resulting in best execution for their clients.

The ideal candidate will also work with their technologists to develop an electronic solution for filling clients orders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of municipal bond trading experience.
• Must have significant relationships on the street.
• Experience making markets in various credits along the curve and throughout the country.
• Multiple sector experience beyond GOs.
• Series 7 and 63.
