This is an operational control/performance role in one of the highest-performing businesses in the company. The role works very closely with traders and is responsible for the timely and accurate daily monitoring of trading book activities, and in particular the daily market exposure, profit and loss and market risk.

You will provide control and MI for front, mid and back office, analyse P&L, enhance the control environment and reconcile MI to accounting data. You will take ownership of the relationship with relevant trader(s), remedy issues with positions and use your understanding of trading books to explain performance and strategies. In some instances you will also cover for other analysts within the team.

To qualify for this role you MUST have an understanding of trading strategies, MI and associated business, accounting and control processes. You will also be a qualified accountant or have a CFA with excellent communication and presentation skills.
