Working for a leading financial institution, bring your credit risk regulatory and policy experience to this challenging role, great rewards!

Do you have a strong understanding of Credit Risk? Do you have a demonstrated ability in analysing risk issues and developing and implementing policy or procedural solutions? If so then we want to hear from you! Working within a small, yet supportive and successful team, you will ensure best practice credit risk management frameworks are developed and implemented across the bank. This is a high profile/highly visible strategic role where you will be exposed to risk management issues and senior leadership across the breadth of the group. As such, this role can provide a good platform to develop your career. Both challenging and stimulating, you will certainly not be bored in this role! To help the bank achieve its goals and comply with regulatory requirements you will need to;

  • Research, analyse and formulate the development of new and existing credit policies and change management strategies
  • Ensure proposed policy / credit risk framework management changes do not adversely impact on compliance with Basel II accord
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business to assist in interpreting risk policy and regulatory requirements, in particular for complex transactions and new business initiatives
  • Prepare and review high level briefing papers for senior management and prepare reports and submissions to the Executive Risk Committee, Risk Committee and the Board
  • Analyse portfolio trends in Group credit risk concentrations relative to credit risk concentration frameworks

This role requires a very strong understanding of Credit Risk supported by formal qualifications and a sound regulatory awareness (Basel II or APRA experience) and solid banking industry experience. Your problem solving skills will be a given, and as such you will be rewarded with a challenging, fair and rewarding environment. Please call Tim Knott on 8244 8431 or hit apply!
