Position: Senior Trader (95% Equities & 5% Debt/Bonds) with Sales Trading Accounts.

Compensation Target: $70K Base Salary (target) and 40% Gross Payout on Sales Trading Accounts, Full Benefits

Responsibilities: Co-handle with another Trader all the trading for the Retail Brokers and Hedge Funds (hosted), as well as, bring in as much new business as possible for mutual benefit.

• Investment Banking: Focused on small and midcap firms and capital raises up to $100MM in alternative energy, healthcare and technology in both the US and BRICK countries.

• Hedge Fund Hosting: They are the largest tenant in their midtown office due to this service.

• Prime Brokerage (Introducing Broker for JP Morgan). Worth noting: JPM put a limit out AUM at $250MM, but if you go through my client, a smaller fund (<$250MM SUM) can "piggy back" to get accepted and get all the JPM Prime Brokerage benefits.

• Institutional Trading / Research. This is a focus area of growth for the firm. The firm has several pieces in place including some institutional equity and options strategist/sales traders, as well as, a chemicals, mining & metals, and generalist investment analysis.

Qualifications: Candidate will need to be team player, have cash equity sales trading experience with enough relationship-based sales trading business to feel comfortable that they can produce $200K+ in commission business once they learn more about the platform and talk to their clients. There is an opportunity for multiple commission revenue streams in this position.  Candidates familiar with banking deal distribution/sales are ideal.  Up to date licenses and a clean record are essential.
