Role Summary

Directly reporting into the Chief Risk Officer of GE Capital Italy, you will drive, with your team, cross-functional deals which will involve analysis, and adherence to all due diligence processes. Integral to the role will be your customer interfacing skills, as you will be a key contact for our customers, who will see you and your team involved in negotiation, approvals and end-to-end documentation management. As a proven people manager, you will be accomplished at growing, coaching and developing your team and also comfortable energizing your team to get the best results.

Core Responsibilities

• Approval of new credit requests, and credit line renewals for existing customers.

• Together with your cross-functional team, negotiate terms and conditions for transactions and works, as well as ensure the appropriate documentation is completed.

• Drive risk assessments and give recommendations to the senior management team with a clear and consistent approach in order to mitigate political, legal, regulatory, and other risks.

• Responsible for the Under Writing processes, ensuring the full respect and compliance with the GE policies. Also work together with the Risk policies owners to set up and update credit policies.

• Together with the portfolio management department, work on the ongoing accounts, being responsible to assure the correct management of our approval workflow, and ensure the respect to the delegated authorities.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years experience in commercial lending or investment businesses.

• Knowledge of structured finance, LBO, Acquisitions and Project Finance, specialized lending, together with commercial lending skills.

• Excellent presentation skills and Italian and English fluency are essential.

You’ll need to thrive working in a fast paced multinational business and preferably have experience working in matrixed environment. You’ll also have strong leadership skills and be an accomplished risk professional.
