A top-tier bank is looking to hire a vice president product controller within their structured trade review group in Singapore; the group are responsible for reviews of the banks more complex trades with a view to ensuring modeling and valuation integrity. The product control function supports and acts as a safe guard for the banks sales and trading activities, key responsibilities of the group are as follows.

• Ensuring complete, accurate and timely P&L and Balance Sheets
• Independent validation of trading positions valuations
• Evaluating and integrating new products and businesses into the financial environment

The group is currently performing Structured Trade Reviews of Exotic Equities, FX, Interest Rates, Fund Link Products, Emerging Markets, Commodities and Exotic Credit Derivatives for Asian, European and US desks. The role will report into the Director of the structured trade review group and will be responsible for managing one of the above areas; the responsibilities for the role will include the following.

• Management of a medium sized team responsible for structured trade reviews
• Technical leadership on a range of complex issues in trade reviews across multiple asset classes.
• Liaison with senior management in front office along with product control management of all asset classes.

We are looking for candidates with strong valuations / quantitative oriented experience with exposure to a range of pricing techniques, you will also have previous management experience along with a relevant academic background.
