Role summary
Provide key support to the Financial Controllership. Demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Being the key player on the internal Management cost allocation process.
Essential Functions (Responsibilities)
• Co-ordination accurate and timely month end, quarter end and annual closings for several Legal entities.
• Assist on internal GE reporting, as well as external reporting (National Bank)
• Preparation of audit files for statutory audit in the NL, as well as other countries in scope
• Co-ordination of several Statutory Accounts filings/ preparations
• Primary country accounting responsibility for Hungary and Netherlands Legal Entity
• Managing the Working Capital Solutions Intercompany management Cost program
• Handling the monthly, quarterly and yearly accrual bookings for the Hungarian and Netherlands Legal Entity
• Control the AP system bookings in conjunction with above accruals
• Prepare and review certain account reconciliations done by the outsourced team and coordinate closure of issues/open items
• Closely work together with the F,P&A team and budget owners on monitoring Overhead expenses
• Continuously focus on possibilities to improve accounting processes, and ensure compliance with local and US GAAP
• Interpret and implement GE General Accounting procedures (GAP) and Generally Accepted Accounting principles
• Assist the Tax team on Transfer Pricing documentation and Legal entity restructurings
• Manage and give support to a Financial Management Program Trainee

In deze rol neem je een sleutelpositie in bij het interne kostallocatieproces van GE. Om dit proces in goede banen te kunnen leiden werk je graag hands on en weet je wat het is om te werken bij een multinational. Daarnaast heb je als doelstelling om de processen continu te verbeteren

Business degree in finance or economics, and/or Chartered Public Accountant qualification – strong technical accounting background
3+ years of experience in accounting or auditing roles, preferably in financial services environment
Boundary less and positive attitude – ability to interact with members of finance team, as well as other functional business departments
Process driven, focused on execution
Fluency in English and Dutch. Secondary language skills in Italian, German, French, Spanish a significant plus
