Our Client is a top tier international bank with an extensive global foot print. They are looking to identify and attract an experienced HR professional with a track record in helping firms identify, attract and retain high-caliber banking professionals at Associate Director level and above.

The Bank is looking to bring a talented HR professional into the fold as part of their HR team with a specific focus on hiring and providing HR services to mid to senior level front office professionals. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources for Singapore,  you will work closely with the relevant business leaders on attracting and retaining talent, management, training as well as compensation and benefits.

Specific duties include:

•         Formulate and implement strategic banking HR policies to ensure that the pipeline of new talent is continually reflective of the Company's goals and objectives, and that current employees continue to receive HR advice and services in line with the companies standards and practices.

•          Manage budgets, assess headcount analysis and advise senior Business Leaders of the best methods of recruitment as well as retention.

•       Execute and oversee recruitment, selection and administrative matters including, compensation and benefits, monthly payroll, and performance management of the banking staff.

•         Ensure that all day-to-day operations of the function comply with proper governance requirements

•          Act as a business partner to tie in HR initiatives to the organisation’s  growth.

Job Requirements

•         University graduate preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration or related disciplines 

•          A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience gained strictly from Financial Institutions

•          Good  knowledge of banking  operations, products and services

•          Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural skills

•          Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets

The suitable individual will possess a high level of integrity and professionalism. As the role is a targets driven one, in turn supporting a front office function which is in itself also revenue oriented, the successful professional will couple his/her skill set with both drive and discipline. Entrepreneurial thinking will also be highly beneficial.
