Incumbent will function in a dynamic environment interacting with Trading Risk Services, Front Office, Finance, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Audit, and Regulators in multiple geographic locations . Role encompasses numerous functions (P&L attribution, valuation, and risk reporting) and span multiple asset classes (rates, equity, and credit).

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Critical accountability for day-to-day management of key NY Global Middle Office imperatives.

• Participate in NY GMO strategic and tactical business solution discussions.

• Manage GMO process migrations between multiple centers.

• Key contact for Governance, Control and risk Management initiatives.

• Central point of contact for NY GMO technology solutions.

• Work with stakeholders to develop and implement project plans and business requirements.

• Manage resources within the NY GMO where applicable, to meet deliverable commitments.

• Manage key initiatives, but also be an active solutions provider.

• Serve as a consultant resource to production-related issues.

• Manage, administer, and maintain the Project Log.

• Prepare meeting agendas and minutes, where applicable.

• Prepare regular project update presentations, as necessary.

• Serve as the NY GMO Demand Management manager.

• Document process flows and business solution proposals.

Qualifications/Competencies/Accreditations:

• The candidate must be goal-oriented, highly motivated, a self-starter and willing to undertake new challenges.

• The candidate must be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational, technical and analytical skills.

• Leadership, professionalism, and strong communication skills, both verbal and written are essential.  In addition, confident presentation and facilitation skills are required to interact with stakeholders.

• Five or more years of work experience related to capital markets and investment banking businesses is a prerequisite.

• Previous project management or business management will be considered an asset.

• People manager is an asset.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

• A bachelor’s degree or other applicable designation/educational background is strongly preferred.
