We are looking for a strong experimented Finance Manager to manage the activities of a multinational company which will set up its activities in Luxembourg.

Job description

As the Finance Manager for the Luxembourg Holding Companies, you will be in charge of managing the financial activities relating to them. You will provide support and insight on all financial and operational matters as follows :

- You will be a key member of the Controller’s organization and will have strong relationships with the global finance organization, the business process owners, and the Company’s Board of Director’s located in Luxembourg

- You will be responsible for complex accounting matters including the production of statutory financial statements, bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations and general accounting activities

- You will be in charge of complex reporting requirements, including the financial analysis of results

- You will manage budgets, forecasts and quarterly reforecasts

- You will report business variances in comparison to the budget and the prior year

- You will be responsible for financial analysis including balance sheets, P&Ls and cash flow analysis

- You will coordinate all tax, treasury and legal compliance for the holding entities

- You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of SAP FI/CO modules

- You will work in close relation with the local authorities and you will develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as law firms, tax advisors and outsourced providers

- You will report to the VP, Finance within the Global Controller’s organization

Who we are looking for
 

- You will have a University degree in Finance or you will be a qualified accountant  (ACCA, CAP etc)

- You will have 7 to 10 years post qualification experience preferably in an international organisation

- You will have a strong knowledge in USGAAP, IFRS and SOX compliance

- You will have a solid experience as controller, including statutory book-keeping responsibilities and P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow reporting

- You will be experienced in working with external stakeholders (external auditors, tax consultants, legal authorities, law firms)

- You will have experience in managing all aspects of an entity or a business unit

- You are a team player in an international environment, however you must be  able to work on your own as you will be the only Luxembourg based employee

- You will have strong analytical skills

- You are an experimented user of SAP/Hyperion

- You have excellent verbal communication and presentation skills

- You always work with integrity and transparency

- You are fluent in English and French; any additional language is considered as an asset.
