Morgan Stanley is looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager with to lead multiple strategic projects within the EMEA Listed Derivatives Project.

Project Manager with extensive experience to lead multiple strategic projects within the EMEA Listed Derivatives Project.

The Firm has initiated a global program to rapidly expand the Listed Derivatives business and grow market share. The goal is to become a leading global Listed Derivatives Futures & Options Broker providing execution and clearing services across all regions and products.

Candidate will play a lead role in supporting the Listed Derivatives renovation, and will be responsible for interfacing with the business unit, technology teams and both downstream and upstream processing groups. Key renovation areas include Trades Processing, Clearing, Expiry, and Reconciliation Services. A background in Listed Derivatives products and functions (Futures and/or Options) would be advantageous

Skills Required
• Demonstrates experience in successful project management and the delivery lifecycle for technology driven projects is critical.
• The candidate should be able to produce business requirements using analytical skills across different user groups.
• Strong organizational and process improvement skills.
• Strong analytic and problem solving skills; ability to learn quickly and solves poorly defined problems
• Develops strong relationships and personal credibility with the user community and understands how their needs/requirements can be incorporated into the delivery of the solution.
• Excels in an environment of ambiguity by quickly adapting behavior and work methods to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities.
• A self-starter and highly motivated; ability to work individually and within a team.
• Demonstrates empathy for user issues, understanding the balance between customization and commodization to produce effective business solutions for the benefit of the wider organization.
• Demonstrates product knowledge to further the project and maintain relationship with the business users.
• Experienced in financial services and Listed Derivatives product knowledge is preferred.
• The candidate should have a good understanding of when communication to stakeholders/ users is required and formulate effective communication plans to meet their needs.
• The candidate should understand at what point issues should be escalated and to whom.
• Demonstrates organization skills and manages priorities across assigned activities/ tasks.
• Anticipates and manages the immediate and longer-term consequences when things go wrong.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Effective time management skills.
• Degree qualified or equivalent.
