Darwin Rhodes is working with a leading catastrophe management team who are now recruiting a Senior Director for their new business unit. This individual is being appointed to drive the development and supervision of the detailed technical requirements for all new and upgraded catastrophe model development projects. This role will also focus on generating requirements concerning technical scope of models and new capabilities reflecting innovations in risk modelling. This is a very technical role and we are ideally looking to appoint someone who has extensive experience in (re)insurance in a leading catastrophe risk management position. The ideal candidate will have an excellent academic background ideally PhD/MSc or equivalent in a Science or Quantitative discipline with a deep understanding of the technical and financial model capabilities of catastrophe risk models.
