The wealth management team develops and manages relationships with wealthy individuals and families, advising them on ways in which to build and protect their financial assets through equity, fixed income, alternative investments and other asset classes.  The main focus of this role will be to provide support to the investment professionals in the setting up of new accounts and servicing existing clients.

The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include liaising with clients, executing trades (multiple asset classes), handling cash management, foreign exchange transactions and currency hedging.  You will perform portfolio analysis and management including asset allocation, valuation analysis and portfolio performance review.  You will be also be expected to prepare client facing materials and assist on projects related to new business development, strategic planning, product development and other marketing infrastructure initiatives.

The attributes necessary to succeed in this role are the ability to work in a fast-paced environment within a team-oriented structure, to work and think clearly under pressure and the ability to build relationships at all levels.  You should have excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills as well as strong organizational skills and attention to detail.  The ideal candidate will have financial services experience and should have a genuine interest in the industry.  Native level Cantonese as well as fluent English and Mandarin language skills are essential for this position.
