Position Description:
AP Interest Rates, Credit & Currencies (“IRCC”) In Business Sales Trading Content Editor
(“APSTEDITOR” or “STEDITOR”)

Area overview:
The Asia Sales Trading Content Editor is a comprehensive function for the firmwide integration and deployment of our IRCC eCommerce business. The role covers key elements in Sales & Trading:
• Content editor to make sure the style, consistency and compliance elements are of Morgan Stanley structure
• Markets & Product News/Trade ideas/Commentaries internal and external distribution
• Internal and external client awareness and eCommerce product distribution
• Matrix 'Champion' expert user who can be the reference point for the product in all of Asia
• Key influential contribution manager who will ensure both sales and trading are promoting onto our platforms
• 'Ideas' and Commentary updater and content maintainer
• Business management

Morgan Stanley is looking for a Desk Analyst with a key focus on updating and maintaining the “Ideas” section of the Matrix platform http://www.morganstanley.com/matrixinfo , ensuring both traders and sales are contributing. You will be required to add commentaries and trade ideas yourself.

This role would be ideal for someone who is looking to progress into a role within FID Sales/Research.

Other responsibilities include: being in charge of running morning meetings, promoting Morgan Stanley's research both externally and internally within the firm, as well as assisting in the roll out of the e-trading platform.

Essentially the hire will need to be a strong and charismatic individual not shy to 'drum-roll' sales & trading into publishing. The responsibilities includes adding commentaries and trade ideas for distribution on our eCommerce platform.

The successful candidate in this role will:
• Have ideally gained experience within Fixed Income Research on the Buy or Sell- side
• Some knowledge/experience of compliance issues would be helpful
• Possess excellent analytical skills
• Be able to demonstrate strong verbal and written skills
• Be required to have a good attention to detail
• Have excellent academics

Licenses/trading permits:
• TBD - May be required to obtain over time
