Assistant Vice President, Legal

Reporting to the Head Legal, you will support the company on legal transactions. In addition, you will assist the Singapore office on legal as well as commercial issues in the areas of corporate, corporate finance and property. You will draft or review a broad range of contracts which may include joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions. This position will be based in Singapore or Malaysia.

To excel in this role, you should possess a good degree in law with at least 7 years’ corporate/ commercial experience in-house or in private practice, with an emphasis on real estate, corporate finance and merger and acquisition work. You should also have cross border experience, a good commercial sense and an excellent command of English with strong inter-personal and drafting skills. An ability to read and write in Mandarin would also be advantageous.
