Job Function • This position is primarily responsible for all HR advisory support and consultation to assigned Business Units (in this instance, Information Technology). • This position will be responsible for overseeing the needs of business in areas of Talent management, development and retention • This position will provide advisory and be a consultant to the management and staff of assigned business units in HR matters • This position will also need to support in the HRIS on need basis Key Responsibilities • To manage recruitment and selection process with business unit heads and preferred vendors • To be responsible for Talent Management in areas of comp & ben, training & dev, working closely with business unit heads and HR consultants • Is responsible for the staff administration process ie from time of hire to termination • Provide competent HR advisory services and necessary tools to management and staff to manage employer-employee relations and counseling, so as to build upon and maintain a harmonious and productive work environment • Develop and implement talent development plans and strategies within the business units for a mixed population viz new entrants, existing staff and “plateaued” employees • To work closely with HR team to ensure that talent management and retention are in accordance to the HR process & procedures • Ensure timely communication to HR team so that assistance may be provided at all times and to ensure high service level to business units Requirements • Min educational level must be at least a degree holder in Business Management • At least 5 years of relevant HR management experience • Must be able to manage and align the competing demands of corporate strategic goals and employee expectations • Experience in change management and organizational development • Must be sensitive to and respect the diversity in employment population • Must be able to administer policies in a fair and equitable manner • Must be able to engage in pro-active human resource management processes • Good HRIS knowledge in SAP is ideal, but not necessary
