Our client has a really successful metals and mining team, which has worked on nearly all the major metals and mining deals in recent years.  They have a very strong franchise on a global basis, and advise clients on mergers, acquisitions,  IPOs, joint ventures,  and strategic advisory work.

They are now looking to add an Associate to their team, who will work closely with clients on the execution of M&A and advisory mandates.

There is some flexibility as to the level at which they recruit (with the Associate class) but are very interested in meeitng people who will have a background as follows:

- investment bankers with M&A experience in the metals and mining sector

- corporate development or investment professionals in metals and mining companies who are looking to make a move into a banking role
