Essential: C#, .NET 2.0 / 3.5, SQL Server 2005, Winforms, WPF, Multi-threading, UI development, finance background, hedge fund or investment bank

Desired: Excellent communication / interpersonal experience, finance, ideally from a hedge fund

Our client, a well established and highly regarded hedge fund based in London are seeking a talented senior C# programmer to face off to some of the world’s most high profile traders, working on a GREENFIELD project, using expert User Interface development skills and strong multi-threading knowledge to design and develop the next generation User Interface application to be used on c200 desk tops across multi-asset Classes - FX, COMMODITIES, FIXED INCOME, EQUITIES by high profile traders and business users in London and New York.

You must ideally come from a Computer Scientist background with excellent C# (Client application) and multi-threading skills, a deep understanding of the various asset classes and the interpersonal skills to negotiate with high profile traders on a daily basis, for their time and understanding how technology and your creativity can be used to improve their PnL.

This is not a role for your typical artistic GUI developer, you must have best amongst peer tech skills and a track record of designing and developing robust UI applications for traders / quants.
