Our client, a leading offshore firm, requires a CFO to lead their global finance team. The role will be based in the Cayman Islands.
The CFO will be responsible for directing the firm's global finance function, and will have overall accountability for financial plans and accounting practices, ensuring the integrity and consistency of the accounting records and managing financial reporting. The CFO will provide clear direction and comprehensive support to the firm in its financial management with the aim of enhancing the firm's competitive position and achieving its strategic objectives. In addition to managing the production of financial and management accounts and reports, the CFO has ultimate responsibility for the management and development of the finance function globally in order to create a commercially focused value-adding department and establishing a strong, highly effective finance and accounting team in each of the firm's offices worldwide.
The CFO will have overall responsibility and accountability for the financial operations of the firm on a global level, working with support teams in Cayman and the international offices.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills: * An undergraduate degree from an internationally recognized university and a qualification as an ACA accountant with demonstrable port qualification experience having qualified with one of the top tier accounting firms or Blue Chip international corporations. * Senior financial and strategic management accounting experience gained working in multiple jurisdictions for a multi-office, multi-national firm. * Audit experience. * A track record for delivering objectives within an international professional services firm.
