A successful hedge fund is looking for an outstanding candidate to head their technology infrastructure to support their rapid growth. (Networking/Storage/Database/Security).
This will suit an existing Head of Infrastructure in small hedge fund/trading house or a hands on infrastructure architect looking for their next progressive step.
Key skills
Superb technical background in IT infrastructure covering Networking LAN/WAN (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN etc), Desktop build & configuration, Storage (SANS, NAS etc).
A proven record of working directly with front office traders. You must have experience working in a front office environment ideally with a hedge fund and will probably have a record of success in a leading global bank. An entrepreneurial approach is definitely relevant.
The ability to build a team around yourself, manage budgets etc.. There is massive potential for growth and you will be responsible for heading the global infrastructure for the fund, reporting directly into the CTO.
Exceptional education – in Computer Science, Maths, Physics or a related subject.
