Skills: 1. Chartered Accountant / ACA / CPA. 2. 10+ Years post qualification experience. 3. Technically very strong – IFRS. 4. Experienced in Implementation of processes and controls. Knowledge: 1. Position Purpose: To be fully accountable for the accurate and timely production of: 1. Group Financial reporting 2. IFRS 3. Management reporting 4. Annual budget and semi-annual forecast 5. To be the custodian of financial controls within the organization.. Position Scope: Reporting to the CFO, working within company’s HQ the role covers all group subsidiary businesses. Strategic Group wide role. Managerial 1. Providing strategic support to the CFO and the CEO. 2. Provide strong technical skills / IFRS to HQ and group organization. Operational 1. Maintain an appropriate control environment which ensures the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the groups’ financial information. 2. Help on specific projects (investments, business plans…) or reports. Issue, coordinate and input the budgets for the group, in liaison with the business units and the management. 3. Guaranty the flow of information or instructions between the subsidiary businesses and corporate HQ. 4. Variance analysis and interpretation of financial results. 5. Overseeing the accounts and books of the company including audits. 6. Responsibility for internal and financial controls in accordance with company policies and UAE legislation. 7. Ensuring accurate and timely recording and documentation of accounting and financial transactions. 8. Establishing and managing formal monthly closing. 9. Reviewing and approving expenses, payroll calculation, cash withdrawals and transfers. 10. Responsible for financial reconciliations. 11. Issue, coordinate and input the budget and reforecast in the deadline provided by the subsidiaries for corporate HQ. 12. Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures with respect to finance, accounts, and financial administration. 13. Identifying appropriate accounting practices. 14. Involved in budgeting processes, compiling income and expenditure budgets. 15. Involved in financial analysis, trend analysis and forecasting process, as required. 16. Involved in the development and implementation of financial procedures and control tools. 17. Ensuring compliance with corporate and legislative standards. 18. Reviewing financial and operational performance. 19. Preparing financial statements and reports and management information reports. 20. Coordinating annual audit with external auditors.
Responsible For: Chief Accountant and Accountant. Additional Skills 1. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Financial professional holding a CPA/CA/CMA qualification. 2. Experience 8-10 years post-graduate experience with management experience. 3. Fluency in English is essential as well as analytical and problem solving skills. 4.
