MANAGER, PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

- EQUITIES FRONT / MIDDLE OFFICE (Trading & Risk Management) -

In this challenging leadership role for a senior-level professional you will lead the delivery of innovative Trading and Risk Management business solutions for our clients in the Equities Front / Middle Office area. Using your deep understanding of project and client management tools and methodologies you will manage relationships, project progress, target achievement, and maintain high performance standards.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership of all aspects of project
• Definition and management of appropriate project definition, workshop and scope definition exercises
• Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones and required tasks.
• Providing, planning and work breakdown structure creation and management services.
• Prepare project status reports and keeps management, clients and others informed of project status and related issues
• Responsible for obtaining, through customer satisfaction and acceptance testing, project signoff of completion

 EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, economics, sciences or related areas
• Profound industry experience working within an investment banking Front Office / Middle Office environment
• Profound work experience as project lead in the IT and consulting space
• Full project lifecycle experience
• Understanding of Front and Middle Office Procedures and Equity, Cash Equity concepts – either from a business consulting or business analysis perspective
• Work experience in an Equity Department with strong understanding of GL, Settlements, Confirmation matching, Workflow
• Know-how of trading, cross asset class traded products, management techniques and risk assessment
• Familiarity with specific Vendor systems a plus i.e. Finesse, Calypso, Fidessa, Markit Wire, DTCC Deriveserv, Bloomberg, Reuters
• Exposure to one or more risk / trading systems i.e. Murex, Summit, Sungard, Calypso, Openlink, Algorithmics a plus
• Experience in Prince2, RUP and/or Agile development methodologies
• Leadership expertise, ideally with international, multi-disciplinary teams of 20+ people
• Substantial knowledge in using project- and risk management tools
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation and negotiation skills
• Open to frequent overnight travel and work at client site
