Our client, a leading Australian bank who is aggressively expanding in the Sydney market, has a position vacant within Corporate Banking for a Head of Industry. As a Manager within this team you will be responsible for helping to develop the bank's market share.

The role will see you managing a team of Relationship Managers and Assistant’s while assisting them to tap into your strong referral base generated at another leading financial services organisation. You will have a strong focus on people and business development and will not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the action. Your communication and leadership skills will be well developed as will your experience in managing both internal and external relationships.

You will also undertake industry presentations to client’s one on one and assist in the development of industry relationships for the relationship teams. You will also understand and develop research of the industry to be positioned as an expert to facilitate new business and develop a strong understanding of the needs of an industry and work to provide solutions to the needs.

Preferably, you will be degree qualified with at least 10 years experience in the corporate or institutional banking market. It is essential in this role that you can hit the ground running and quickly develop rapport with an established and well respected team of banking professionals.
