An expanding group seeking a Treasury operations Manager for front/middle office to be part of the Treasury Operations team.which is responsible for the development & delivery of an effective treasury operations infrastructure that optimally manages all the groups cash & operates as an in-house bank to the groups investee companies.

Primary responsibilities of the position are to:

• Manage short and medium term cash flow requirements

• Ensure that the treasury operations team act as a group bank for investee companies

• Provide cash management and risk management solutions specifically for the GEJV

• Act as a primary dealer in foreign exchange and money market related activities

• Undertake hedging transactions on behalf of Group Treasury

• Assist in the implementation of a treasury management system

• Assist in the development of a treasury operations controls, procedures and policies

• Production of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly management information

• Training and development of junior members of the team

Skills and experience required:

• Working knowledge, understanding and experience of financial markets including use of Bloomberg and Reuters for market news and pricing

• Interpersonal skills (communication, written and verbal)

• Work to a high level of accuracy and detail

• Treasury products, hedging techniques, policies, processes and procedures

• Treasury systems (including implementation), and banking platforms

• Understanding and operational use of derivatives

• Knowledge of asset and liability management and commercial finance activity

• Experience of typical treasury requirements of a Corporate

• Practical experience of the offerings provided by banks (cash management solutions, banking arrangements and facilities, bank account structures and e-banking solutions)

• Commercial understanding of business and be able to determine and offer the best solution that allows the business to continue to meet its objectives while ensuring treasury disciplines are followed

Qualifications required:

• CFA, ACT, Accountancy (or studying towards)
