Strategic appointment - Group reporting role providing outstanding exposure across the business - Strong project management & analytical focus

My client is a leading Banking and Financial Services group with an outstanding network and brand across both the domestic and regional financial markets. Innovative products and a commitment to client service are its hallmarks. As a result of an internal promotion and strong growth forecast for the next 12 months my client is looking to appoint an outstanding performer who can help drive forward the banks group reporting process.

This is a diverse and broad based performance reporting role offering a suitably qualified individual the opportunity to join a high performing team with unparallel bank wide exposure. The role itself will be responsible for driving the Group's statutory reporting requirements, including half yearly ASX Profit Announcement, Annual Report and related deliverables. Involvement in technical accounting issues will be minimal, instead your focus will be on managing Executive level relationships across the business, identifying and resolving management reporting issues and ensuring that the wider business continue to deliver high quality inputs during key reporting periods.

You are CA/CPA qualified (upto 6 yrs PQE considered) with solid financial/management reporting experience gained in a Financial Services or ASX listed Corporate. People considering their first move out of practice are also strongly encouraged to apply. Proven senior level engagement and influencing skills are a must for this role and you will be confident communicating your ideas and driving process change out into the business units.
