RESPONSIBILITIES: Experienced Sales Professional to work as our Regional Sales Manager
West coast Region.
The candidate will be responsible for:
Work directly with existing SG Equipment Finance industrial global vendor partners and their corresponding dealer networks.
Develop business with direct end users of industrial equipment to include construction, printing, machine tools, general manufacturing and transportation equipment ? Develop new vendor and dealer relationships in the industrial market place.
Industrial verticals will include Construction, Printing, Machine Tools, Material Handling, and General Manufacturing and transportation Equipment.
Work directly with clients and the SG sales and back office team in leasing program development from pricing, promotion, credit underwriting and the overall product offering.
Work with the internal SG team to insure credit, product, pricing and promotional aspects of each account are aligned to serve the needs of both SG and the vendor partner
Serve as the Central Point of contact with vendors, dealers and end users in territory for all program issues
Develop strong personal relationships with key constituents at the vendor and dealer accounts
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Required:
Strong background in hard asset vendor marketplace (construction, transportation, machine tool, printing)
Solid technical grounding in the operational and credit aspects of the business (credit, operations, funding, pricing and products)
Prior experience managing relationships with profitable results
Desired:
Comfortable working in both a start-up and structured, large corporate environment
Good relationship building skills
Experience in Global Vendor Businesses and the related issues
Strong working knowledge of tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and pricing tools (HP calculator, T-Value or Supertrump)

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Minimum of 5 years of business development in the equipment finance and leasing
General experience of the construction and industrial equipment market place
Desired/Plus:
Additional years of experience in sales, credit and/or program management ? Experience with Salesforce.com
EDUCATION
Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
