Docklands based Investment Bank seek a Global Head of Equity Financing & Synthetics (Repo) Prime Services / Prime Brokerage we are looking for a Executive Director to be the Global IT Manager for Equity Financing and Synthetics Prime Services Technology. You will face off against the heads of the business units & senior product managers globally. You will work with the business to define & execute a strategy with technology solutions.

You will be a subject mater expert in Equity Financing & Synthetics Prime Services and have come from a Technical Development / Programming Background. You will be challenging the development managers on their choice of architecture and will be ensuring that they build resilient systems in server side Java and J2EE Technologies. You will have a strong background in Project Management and Project Governance. You will be managing a team of around 50 IT personal globally

You will interactive with the business, be a domain expert in Prime Services, a technology leader, who will be putting some process in place make sure these 2 teams run in tandem and work with the business and ensure Technology is delivering the solutions on time and within budget

This firm wants to build out the architecture, re-architect for the 2 systems and you will be instrumental in strategy and vision and give suggestions and recommendations.
