IT consultant position in a dynamic growing company for an experienced and enthusiastic person within their Solution Consulting team. The candidate is expected to lead the IT Solution Consulting presales activities, or other dedicated projects, for the company’s Treasury and Capital Markets (TCM) products.

This involves:

- Organizing and leading product demos and workshops from a technical perspective to assure the competitive advantages of the TCM solution is understood by the prospect

- Preparation of RFI/RFPs to assure the TCM products / modules are presented according to the key criteria of the prospect/client especially in the IT / architecture areas

- Advice on best practice and technology, mentoring and advising throughout all phases of the sales cycle to ensure world class solution selection

- Analyzing the prospect current architecture in terms of current used systems architecture and targeted architecture, interfaces between systems, hardware sizing.

- The other important role for this position is to be able to understand the high level business requirements, initiate prototypes and work closely with the other business lines or product centre / solution management team

- Demo environments / upgrades / patch installations of the TCM solutions in terms of applications and databases

- Direct communication with the product centre for each solution and with the solution management team

Also, this position involves working for our client’s customers by designing and developing interfacing and reporting solutions but also by customizing the ‘package software’ which has an extensive API to provide solutions for their customers.

This will require learning about the software architecture, C++ API and business to assist for the following tasks: solution design, understanding their clients’ requirements, writing specifications, coding, testing, troubleshooting, software installation/configuration…

Min Academic Qualifications:

1. Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or Computers.

2. Degree in Finance (would be a plus).

Technical Knowledge Requirement:

1. C++ on Windows or Unix.

2. C# and .NET.

3. Oracle/Sybase - SQL/Data Access/Data Model knowledge.

4. Other programming languages (E.g. VB, Excel V, Java, Shell, Perl…).

5. Interfacing solutions. E.g. Web Services, SOA, Middleware, ETL…

6. Reporting solutions. E.g. Crystal Report, Cognos…

7. Batch Scheduler (E.g. Control M...), Monitoring Management (E.g. BMC Patrol…), Source Control (E.g. Clearcase…).

Core Competencies:

1. Strong Experience with Treasury and Capital Market software implementation in the banking industry (Summit, Reuters K+, Calypso, Murex, Opics etc…).

2. Strong Technical background.

3. Financial Knowledge or banking industry exposure.

4. Must be personable and be able to do client facing work.

5. Possess excellent Communication skills in English

6. Independent, self reliant contributor that can work and troubleshoot on their own with minimal guidance.

7. Must be a team player and able to blend in with the team and culture. 

8. Adopt an analytical mind in trouble shooting and problem solving.

9. Ability to work independently and in teams geared to individuals who are good in multi-task.

10. Collaborate with sales representatives throughout the lifecycle of the sales campaign, including exploratory meetings, demonstrations, workshops, and gap analysis to assure consistency of messages
