The Global Capital Markets Group offers experience in cross border capital markets, IFRS accounting advisory, financial instruments and SOX and related regulatory compliance for registrants. We have positions in Sydney and Melbourne to join a team of 30 and gain a challenging and diversified mix of experience on large and small clients, from various industries.
We are seeking individuals with audit experience in a Big 4 or leading national firm. You may be an Auditor with a specialisation in large banks or corporate treasury, an Advisor within the Financial Risk Management practice area or Treasury Manager within a corporate treasury.
To be successful in this role, you should have an understanding of Corporate Treasury operations and related Financial Markets knowledge and also possess deep expertise in the following areas:
Working understanding of Treasury Risk Management strategies including foreign exchange, interest rate, commodity price risk and liquidity risks.
Comprehensive experience of hedge accounting and AASB 139 compliance.
Ability to provide value added solutions to complex Treasury related business problems.
Strong knowledge of treasury corporate governance, for example, implementation or review of treasury policies, procedures, guidelines, & related compliance.
Implementation or review of Treasury performance reporting & benchmarking.
Understands the key principles related to the valuation of financial instruments, including hedge effectiveness and sensitivity analysis
Experience with modelling and valuation of financial instruments and derivatives.
