Program Office Manager needed for leading Sydney CBD based financial services organisation. You will be ensuring effecting day-to-day PMO management, budget & cost centre management and coaching / mentoring of PMs.

An opportunity exists to join a leading Financial Services organisation with a number of recognised brands across Australia. 

A senior management position with direct responsibility to lead a large and expanding Program Management Office (PMO). You will be an engaging, relationship focused professional who will take ownership and accountability to drive performance within a dynamic environment. You will be equally capable and comfortable of influencing at the executive level and of becoming involved in the detail of projects if required.

The PMO is responsible for the deployment of effective technology solutions and services to a large environment and customer base. The primary purpose of this position is to provide leadership, governance and management control of the PMO, manage the cost centre, manage, encourage and develop the team and  ensure that the existing processes are adhered to maintained and developed.

Key areas of expertise required for the role:

- Demonstrated leadership characteristics and ability to manage change effectively
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- People management, coaching and development skills.
- Minimum of 5 years significant contribution to PMO/Program management
- Good financial management experience
- Formal Project Management Qulifications preferred
