For one of our clients, a full subsidiary of an international, German bank we are urgently looking for an experienced Accountant. The role is to be part of a small and stable team where you will report directly to the Head of Finance. Ideally they would like someone with a strong knowledge of systems and processes in Accounting, to help the team work more efficiently. The bank has a very flat hierarchy and employees are encouraged to bring and implement their ideas to the business.

YOUR ROLE

As an Accountant you will be responsible for:

Maintaining the daily Accounting and preparing annual financial statements in IFRS and LuxGAAP.

Implementing controls

Producing legal reporting to BCL, CSSF and Bundesbank

Preparing and sending the VAT reporting.

Developing processes and procedures for the department.

YOUR PROFILE

University degree in Finance and Accounting (Kaufmann).

3 - 5 Years of experience as an Accountant in a Bank.

Fluency in German is a must and high level of English required.

Strong knowledge in IFRS.

Computer literate, knowledge of Olympic advantageous.

Team player, accurate, efficient.
