Annie Burton, Senior Consultant at Badenoch&Clark Luxembourg, is currently recruiting a Banking Consolidation Supervisor for one of his clients.
In charge of a small team, you will be responsible for the monthly IFRS reporting and validation and on a yearly basis of the consolidation of some of the groups'accounts.
Your role will include the following responsibilities:
- Supervise a small team of professionals: coordinate their activities, validate their reports, manage their expectations and professional development - Have a critical and analytical eye on the different IFRS reports - Define, validate and report various accounting processes - Take part to a few projects to improve the running processes - Help to the draft of the financial statements.
To be considered for that role we expect you to:
- Have a university degree and an experience in a bank of minimum 5 years - Be fluent in English and French - Have an excellent knowledge of the IFRS norms applied to banks - Be able to lead a consolidation from A to Z and have a similar experience of 2 years to the minimum - A first experience in people management is required - The knowledge of those IT tools would be a strong asset: Magnitude, Hyperion, Business Object, Excel
