A major sell-side Equities House is looking to add an Equity Research Associate to work closely with the Head of the Team as their No.2 and build the Industrials sector.

My client is a major player within Equities and is currently building a top rated equity research franchise.

They are now looking to recruit a Sell side equity research analyst, focused on companies within the Industrials sector. You will work closely with the Head of the sector on the generation of investment ideas for their client base. The role will involve the analysis of companies, markets and sectors; financial modelling and valuations; company and client visits. You will have sole and co-coverage of stocks with your career progression leading up to taking over the platform as Head of the sector.

They are interested in meeting people who will have a background of one of the following:

- sell buy side equity research analysts with a maximum of 5 years exp.

- investment bankers looking to make a move into equity research

- relevant experience is a must within the Industrials/Capital Goods/Aerospace & Defence or Automotive sectors

- excellent financial modelling skills

- great communication ability
