Product Manager Retail cards

Support the Senior Manager Cards in ownership of the SCB Credit Card Retail segment product range (Classic, Gold and Manhattan), processes and the P&L.

The Product Manager, Retail will maximize the profitability of the retail product portfolio whilst minimizing risk exposure and ensuring that the product range is appropriately targeted to our retail customer segments.

-Continually reviewing existing product range, processes and sales channels to ensure SCB Credit cards are aligned to our desired target segments.

-Monitoring of the local competition and overseas markets to ensure product parity and opportunities and threats are identified.

-Ownership of the retail product drivers and financials including the P&L to maximize product profitability

-Accurate and timely budgeting and forecasting

-Development of the retail product plan including product developments to ensure SCB Credit cards are best in market.

-Oversight and liaison with Credit Risk on credit policy and delinquency

-Marketing strategy development and overview to ensure success of the retail product plan

-Understanding, overview and re-engineering of key processes to ensure that the product is cost efficient and customer centric.

-Ensure that the Portfolio operates within Bank Operational risk parameters including product audits and compliance.

Essential

-Sound understanding of the credit card product management, process reengineering and credit risk management.

-Strong financial management skills including forecasting and modeling.

-A positive and flexible can-do-attitude with a strong ability to lead and drive cultural change.

-Analytical approach to problem resolution.

-Ability to work autonomously and prioritize competing requirements.

-Sound communication and presentation skills both verbal and written.

-Flexible approach to work practices.

-Proven Team player.

Desirable

-Strong knowledge of the Retail Banking environment.

-Exposure to marketing strategy development.

-Tertiary qualification in a related discipline.
