Senior Tax Specialist - Funds: Are you an investment fund tax expert with good people management skills ? A thoroughly challenging opportunity has arisen with a leading financial services player !
In this newly created department, you will coach junior staff and be responsible for analysing new legal requirements and laws impacting the tax treatment of investment funds and the funds market.
Senior Tax Specialist - Funds (ref 0909-8LL)
You will be responsible for :
developing tax and technical aspects of fund products
understanding the clients’ service delivery requirements and set standards to exceed expectations
resolving complex client queries
ensuring that all tax and related tasks are performed in accordance with new laws, regulations and internal processes
overseeing the tax technical project work and completing the project requirements
staff management and training
Your profile:
university degree in law or economics with a specialisation in tax would be an advantage
2-4 years experience in tax in an investment company or audit firm or tax department
knowledge of fund accounting, its operations and systems
very good knowledge of investment funds taxation in German, Austrian and EUSD tax regulations
very good knowledge of capital market products
strong people management skills
fluent written and spoken English. German would be an advantage
