An elite Investment Bank is searching for a VP level (hands-on) C++ developer, who will be responsible for building and maintaining High-Frequency and Direct Market Access (DMA) server applications for their Equity Trading business.

The candidate will work on very exciting and challenging software development projects, as well as looking existing software to find solutions to business problems. We work very closely with the business, so the candidate will be required to discuss problems and solutions directly with the users. Also, we work in a team environment, so candidate will need to share ideas and discuss solutions with others.   

Skills Required: 

  • Strong C++ skills
  • FIX Protocol Experience
  • Performance tuning
  • Linux / Unix experience
  • Strong software design / OO skills
  • Multi-threading, real-time systems experience is a must!!!Team player / strong interpersonal skills
  • Sense of integrity and ownership
  • Ability to work in high pressure environment, and deliver under tight deadlines   

Pluses: 

  • Unix / Perl scripting
  • Basic understanding of Equity Trading
  • Direct Market Access, High Frequency, Electronic Trading are all pluses!!!
