Corporate Treasury Advisor -  Senior Manager

Our people connect their thinking, experience and solutions to enhance value for our clients. PwC's Risk and Controls practice provides a range of advisory and assurance services in relation to the financial performance and risk management of leading Australian and the domestic operations of leading international clients from both Sydney and Melbourne.  Within Risk and Controls Solutions we have a dedicated group specifically focused on Corporate Treasury assignments. This team is networked with the assurance and tax team in supporting the corporate treasury function of our clients across all topics. Within this role the key service offerings include:

  1. Financial market risk exposure identification and quantification.
  2. Appetite for risk, strategy and policy formulation.
  3. Cash management, deal execution and associated controls.
  4. Treasury staffing, team structuring, objectives and incentives.
  5. Reporting, governance and accounting (in conjunction with this financial assurance practice).

Essential attributes for this role is a strong background in corporate treasury with a demonstrated track record of driving performance improvements and positive change. We require excellent report writing and face to face presenting skills, high attention to detail and a confident manner working with stakeholders of varying levels of seniority including executive management.  You must enjoy and have proven skills in leading a team and exhibit the ability to coach effectively. General knowledge of the topics associated with the service offerings (above) is essential with deep subject matter experience on two or more. Experience in delivering treasury advice to external clients will be well regarded. 

It is expected applicants will typically have a strong background directly in corporate treasury or consulting to treasurers spanning 3-5 years. Further professional qualifications in accounting and treasury would underpin your commercial experience.  International exposure will be well regarded.
