Will support an experienced Senior Analyst in Wireless and Communications Equipment. Focus primarily on covering the smartphone space. He/She will be part of a team that conducts extensive industry and company analysis. Should be ambitious, hardworking, have good writing skills, pay attention to details, team-oriented.
Candidates must have the following background/skills:
• Prior sell-side experience, preferably over two years covering wireless equipment stocks. Industry experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, forecasting and financial modeling skills. Will be responsible for building and maintaining in-depth handset forecasts and various industry metrics.
• Excellent writing skills and ability to draft in-depth research reports as well as shorter maintenance notes.
• Excellent communications skills. Ability to build and talk with industry contact and company management. Communicating investment ideas with institutional clients, salespeople and traders.
