We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced individual to take on the role of Salesforce.com Administrator in the MIS (Management Information Systems) department, based at the Company’s Corporate Headquarters in Bedford MA. Position Summary: We are seeking a versatile and motivated Salesforce.com Administrator with experience supporting Salesforce.com environments. This is an excellent opportunity for Salesforce.com professionals. An ideal candidate possesses a solid Salesforce.com administrator background with technical aptitude, business analysis skills and demonstrated project leadership experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Manage the support and deployment of Interactive Data’s Salesforce.com CRM application. Maintain, deploy and/or support Salesforce.com solutions. Understand what functionality is available as well as what has already been implemented. Advise on new solutions for enterprise business applications integration and functionality activation. Understand the impact a process change might have on the system and be able to guide process definitions accordingly. Consult with end-users to analyze and understand user needs, objectives, desired features, and input and output requirements. Provide end-user instruction and support to resolve application issues. Provide resolution to issues, and be responsible for escalation procedures. Manage Service Requests with Salesforce.com Support. Write user documentation for new applications. Develop training materials and provide training to new users. Guide users in the implementation of business processes. Provide detailed business requirements specification for developers, process definition outlines and flows, maintain and update application specific process documentation and end user training documentation. Understand the basic component architecture relationship with data (table structures) and key touch points between modules. Develop, coordinate, and implement plans to test business and functional processes and quality assurance testing. Direct functional acceptance testing of upgrades and new features. Train users and document processes. Prepare time and cost estimates for completing assigned projects. (This position works out of both the Boston and Bedford MA offices) Qualifications: Education/Experience/Skills/Abilities: - 2 - 5 years experience with Salesforce.com support. Must state specific experience and areas of expertise, including creating or maintaining most of the following features:
- Profiles, Roles, Security
- Workflows
- Validation Rules, Advanced Formulas
- Custom Objects
- Reports, Dashboards, Views
- Custom links
- Preferred candidates demonstrate some experience with one or more of the following:
- Visualforce
- Apex code
- Oracle Ebusiness Suite experience
- Integrations between Salesforce.com and other enterprise systems
- Data Quality Management experience
- Sales background
- Microsoft Excel
- Experience managing a project or serving as a project team lead on the implementation of an enterprise system.
- Experience training users of Salesforce.com
- Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley impact and the identification of related Salesforce.com controls.
- Demonstrated experience performing business analysis for Salesforce.com, including new implementations, feature enhancements and troubleshooting.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, provide documentation, guidance and instruction to users, at all levels.
- Technical and/or developer skills a plus, e.g. working knowledge of a programming language, general understanding of PC’s, networks, operating systems.
- Certifications a plus, e.g. Salesforce.com Certified, PMP, CBAP, MBA
