This is an opportunity to work in the FX Front Office Technology Team supporting new and current releases. The successful candidate will join a team engaged in delivering solutions for the trading and sales parts of the FX business.
A role has arisen for an Application Support Team Lead/Support Manager to join the FX Spots and Forwards trading support team of this top-tier Investment Bank. You will be tasked with leading the support function for a suite of applications including Real-Time Risk Management, Order Management, Low-Latency pricing and data distribution systems.
You must have extensive experience supporting applications within the front office of an investment bank, fully understand the trade life cycle and be comfortable facing off to traders and key stake holders at all levels.
You will have excellent SQL skills, be able to use log files and associated data to locate problems, possess strong experience of Microsoft technologies and have relational database experience.
This role will best suit candidates who have had extensive exposure to a high pressure, high transaction volume environment, you will have previously lead a team, be comfortable delegating duties and mentoring more junior members of the team. You must also have a proven track record of taking ownership of issues and seeing them through to resolution.
