A leading International Investment Bank is looking to boost its Oil & Gas Trading business by hiring a Lead Application Developer to play a crucial role in the development of its proprietary Trading & Risk Management framework.
You will lead the design and development of new applications and components to support the global Commodities business in partnership with Quant desks.
Your role will be split between hands on development (C++, Java or C#) and team leadership, taking responsibility for a small development team based in London and ensuring that they are motivated and delivering applications to the required standards.
This is a Front Office role and requires both excellent technical skills and a good knowledge of the Commodities and in particular Oil Trading business.
Candidates with expertise in other asset classes are encouraged to apply but Commodities knowledge is highly desired.
