Key responsibilities/ Accountabilities include: • Executing business development strategies to acquire new clients/sales growth for prospects • Utilising research and information to build business plans and tailored individual customer value propositions • Implementing monthly client reports demonstrating account performance, production, claims and profit share utilizing SalesForce.com • Coordinating with Account Managers to ensure cross selling and introduction of all appropriate Genworth products to the current clients of the company • Successfully transitioning deals won to the Account Management team for after sales servicing • Building contacts and industry relationships with potential clients • Assisting in the preparation and management of budgets for prospects • Preparing presentations, reports and tender responses for prospects • Providing support to contract and master policy negotiations • Contributing regulatory, market (customer and distributor) feedback for internal product approval process • Keep up to date on changes in the relevant regulatory environment • Lead channel diversification strategy of Genworth identifying and building creative and non-banking distribution channels • Assume account management role for some of Genworth’s key clients for increased penetration, production and for diversification with different products and for retention
ESSENTIAL Skills required • Previous sales experience in similar role or a combination of experience at the Sales Manager or Account Manager levels. • Proven sales experience with demonstrable figures • Experience of selling to major insurance clients at a life or non life company • Management experience of client relationships at senior levels • Demonstrated ability to identify, prospect and convert significant, large clients that meet Genworth’s desired distributor/customer profiles
