Reporting Relationships
Stonehage Investment Partners (SIP) is a specialist Independent Investment Advisory unit within the Stonehage Group. The incumbent reports to the Directors responsible for SIP.
Working Relationships
The main working relationships are with the investment professionals within the SIP team as well as directly with clients.
Overall Purpose
To support the members of the SIP team in the provision of investment advisory services and to support and manage HNW private client and family office relationships.
Principal Elements and Accountabilities
Preparing investment analysis for clients which will involve significant spreadsheet work including the collation & appropriate presentation of various data
Assisting with due diligence of investment managers
Assisting with the preparation of investment proposals, reports & presentations for clients
Monitoring investment portfolios, making appropriate recommendations and ensuring the implementation thereof
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience/Qualifications
Undergraduate degree (preferably financial or engineering/science) & relevant post graduate qualification
Relevant investment qualifications/part qualifications (e.g. CFA) would be advantageous
Experience within the asset management and/or wealth management industry
Familiar with different asset classes & investment markets
Skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proven research skills
Fully competent in Microsoft Office Suite with good level of Excel
Excellent communication skills (in particular, writing skills)
Working knowledge of Bloomberg would be advantageous
