An outstanding opportunity has arisen with this leading global asset manager for a seasoned marketing professional to shape the global marketing agenda across both their retail and institutional business.
Role & Responsibilities
Responsible for the profitable and compliant execution of the complete mix of global marketing, investment communications and campaign planning/activity for the retail and institutional businesses
Influence and shape the global marketing agenda and strategy across the business, ensuring that all departmental activity is contributing effectively
As a member of the Business Development management team, provide input to the direction of the function
Lead and motivate a team of 20-25 to deliver exceptional performance
Provide direction and focus to direct reports and the wider Marketing team that will enable them to deliver against the company's business priorities
Management of the brand and creative collateral including corporate identity standards
Ensure Marketing can prove its revenue delivery and contribution to shareholder value creation
To build a strong working partnership with key internal and external suppliers
To manage and monitor these relationships to maximise profitability via external contract negotiation/management and to ensure successful execution of the marketing plans
Experience & Qualifications
Sound understanding of the Investment Management arena with exposure to both retail and institutional product offering
High achiever with the vision and determination to drive the marketing strategy within the business
Influencing and Negotiation Skills: Ability to interact and influence and persuade across a variety of businesses and negotiate effectively at all levels
Demonstrable track record in managing large teams and developing talent
Commercial acumen: Strong understanding of the revenue, cost, profit dynamics of the business its channels and product range
Degree/equivalent, preferably MBA or similar broad-based qualification
Track record of success in leading the development and implementation of high profile global marketing strategy.
