Leading Global Organisation in their field, is looking for an outstanding BDM to join their Corporate Finance Marketing and Business Development Team in the Asia Pacific.
Leading Global Organisation in their field is currently seeking a persuasive and assertive Director or Senior Director (depending on experience) with debt capital markets experience to join their corporate finance marketing and business development team in the Asia Pacific.
This position will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing accounts and seeking new revenue for the Company through promoting the value of the Companies products to CFOs and other treasury staff of issuer banks as well as bankers (investment bank DCM teams). The incumbent is expected to develop and execute marketing and business development strategies, as agreed with the Head of Business Development Asia Pacific and to provide marketing support to analysts at a tactical level.
Responsible for brand awareness and acceptance of the Companies products
Develop relationships with issuers and bankers via regular interaction
Market to bankers and CFOs (or treasury staff to advocate the Companies involvement in deal flow in all types of securities)
To work with Director, Investor Development to identify large institutional investors and arrange one-to-one investor meetings throughout Asia with a view to promoting the company and obtaining new mandates
To develop close working relationship with bank analysts in financial institutions group
To keep apprised of target company deal flow and issuer relationships
To coordinate sponsored conferences with the Business Development Support Group
To liaise with media team and press contacts to achieve maximum exposure of financial institutions group through comment, quotations and research
Generate monthly activity status report – plans, successes, challenges and strategy
Travel primarily within ASEAN region around 50 - 70% expected but dependent on business needs
Work in partnership with country managers to win new business and maintain existing relationships
Elevate brand awareness of the Company in the ASEAN region.

Person Specification
The person will have successful experience as a relationship manager in a financial institution or in the debt capital markets (DCM) space with an understanding of the key market participants in this business. The key specifications include:
A minimum of six years relevant marketing or relationship management experience in debt capital market or the banking/financial services sector
Persuasively present, through written and personal interfaces with issuers and bankers
Highly motivated and results oriented; able to generate business development ideas and strategy as well as strong in day-to-day execution
A proven ability to persuade and negotiate effectively
Credit skills including the ability to relate ratings to pricing
Highly developed communication and presentation skills, verbal and written
Able to work independently, high work standards and excellent attention to detail
Team oriented, with ability to effectively build relationships both externally and internally
Effective PowerPoint presentations
Experience of Bloomberg, Reuters and Bondware useful
University degree, preferably in a business-related discipline
Other professional or business qualification (eg. Masters degree, MBA)
