The EMEA Client Management Team encompasses the client management functions across all Global Markets products for the region. The Team works closely with the EMEA Markets leadership and client coverage teams to implement strong, commercially-driven processes to help optimize the performance of our EMEA Markets client platform, including: • Working across product groups and functional areas to ensure our Global and Regional Priority clients are recognized and resourced accordingly • Identifying opportunities for bottom line improvement through detailed review of client feedback, external surveys and internal surveys; developing action plans and ensuring follow-up • Ensuring extensive communication and coordination across coverage teams and Relationship Management to ensure we are maximizing opportunities across all Citi products • Implementing consistent metrics across products to track our performance with clients and the profitability of our relationships Key responsibilities: Analysts play a major part in optimizing Citi's coverage of its largest customers in EMEA, across all business lines within Equities and Fixed Income, with the aim of generating substantial service and revenue improvements. Analysts review and prompt action on information concerning clusters of customers related to specific product lines, regions or countries across the Firm's priority clients universe or specific client types. Together with the Client Management team and the Firm's senior managers, Analysts decide on the best course of action to address these gaps/opportunities and ensure follow-up. Responsibilities include: • Ensuring the information concerning the Firm's priority clients is kept current. This includes AUM, investment strategy, key individuals, penetration of client's key businesses, outstanding follow ups etc. • Organise and maintain a rigorous follow up of action items across all priority clients. • Support the Client Management team in identifying opportunities for service and bottom line improvement through detailed review of client feedback, external surveys and internal qualitative and quantitative information. In that process, analysts use available information or perform wallet reviews and gap analysis in order to be able to establish/maintain "heat-maps" across the Firm's key European businesses to visualise opportunities and monitor progress. • Analysts review and prompt action on information concerning clusters of customers related to specific product lines, regions or countries across the Firm's priority clients universe or specific client types. • Together with the Client Management team and the Firm's senior managers, Analysts decide on the best course of action to address these gaps/opportunities and ensure follow-up. • Take responsibility for organising efficient cross sell initiatives. Together with the head of Client Management, implement initiatives aiming at developing business through an increased communication and coordination between different product groups. • Alert Senior Management to opportunities across EMEA Markets Product, Regions or client types. • Work with head of Client Management to design and implement processes leading to a more efficient Client Management operation. • Responsibility to support and implement specific global Client Management initiatives. • Support the team's "Marketing" efforts (pitch books). • Maintain the EMEA priority client lists for all products across Markets, support the process of updating worldwide priority client lists, mapping exercises, • Monitor and, together with our partners, ensure our resources are aligned with our client priorities (e.g. Research). Similarly, monitor client profitability. • Take responsibility for our Team's monthly and periodic performance and progress metrics. Candidates should: • have previous experience in client management or a similar role (e.g. strategy), • have a strong analytical mind, • excel at analysing issues, identifying and implementing processes and ensuring strict follow up, • have the gravitas required to engage senior sales, trading and research managers.
