This role will appeal to highly analytical individuals who enjoy researching and writing papers on global investment themes. We are working with one of the leading global private equity fund of funds and secondary investors. It is looking to recruit a senior associate / vice president to work in the marketing and communications team.

You will be responsible for producing a series of research papers which will be published monthly. These papers will be highly analytical and be based around global investment themes (for example the Asian private equity market).

You will decide on themes to write about, and produce reports through a mixture of desk work, and interviewing internal/external investors. You will use your technical skills and excellent attention to detail. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside other members of the team and assist with event planning, general marketing and rfp writing. This is a close knit and motivated team.

You will have;

• Demonstrable analytical skills gained from working in a relevant position previously – investment banking, asset management, investment writing, private equity, hedge funds, or investor relations
• Excellent written English and communication skills
• Deep and broad knowledge of the investment management industry, principally in the institutional marketplace
• Expertise in areas of asset allocation, manager research and selection, performance measurement and analysis
• Good understanding of basic marketing practices
• Knowledge and enthusiasm for the global private equity industry
