The Projects team is responsible for developing, enhancing and delivering performance sensitive solutions to an automated trading system. This can take many forms from implementing new trading strategies, to making fast, efficient scalable tools to assisting trading decisions and performance tuning an already lean coding model. The organisation has rapid growth plans an excess of projects waiting to be developed and implemented. This team is part of a global development group that shares ideas, information and best practices and looks to improve on micro-seconds processing times. All development is speed critical and focused on the maximum utilization of code and optimizing data structures for minimal memory consumption.

This role requires the best in class C++ developer's that have strong experience in complex multithreaded, real time, performance critical environments. You will have gained experience in developing performance sensitive systems, ideally in the Financial Markets but applications are also welcome from the Gaming Industry, Security Industry, Telco's and similar complex environments. Hackers are welcome too.

Skills required include:

• Class leading C++ development skills - 5yrs+ Commercial Experience
• In-depth understanding of Standard Template Library (STL) ⁄ Boost
• Real-Time System Development
• Strong familiarity with Design Patterns
• Strong Unix (Linux ⁄ Solaris) skills, scripting experience
• Cross platform development (Windows & Linux)
• Socket ⁄ Network Programming experience
